Description

Type 5 Integrating Indicator per ISO 11140-1:2014 are designed to react to all critical process variables. The stated values are generated to be equivalent to, or exceed, the performance requirements given in the standard for biological indicators. Integrators do not replace the requirement to perform biological testing.
For Single Use Only

For Use in Steam Sterilizers 250°-275°F (121-135°C).
Processed and unprocessed strips should be stored at room temperature away from sources of steam, moisture and heat.

Directions for use:

1. Place a Hu-Friedy Integrator Strip in the center of each pack or load and process according to sterilizer manufacturer's directions.
2. Adequate sterilization conditions are reached when the dark bar has completely travelled through the REJECT window and has entered the ACCEPT window.
3. If the dark bar does not reach the ACCEPT window, reprocessing of the pack is required.

Features

  • The Integrator’s Moving Front Indicator Technology gives a better indication of acceptance, no interpretation of color change needed.
  • The strip is easily visible inside the pack (2" long) allowing users to easily view the integrator from the outside of a pouch or within a cassette in order to view sterilization at a glance.
  • Product is lead free and does not contribute to environmental lead contamination, making it safe for the environment, there are no special hazardous waste requirements.
  • Product is not made with natural rubber latex, making it safe for staff and patients with latex sensitivity or allergies.
  • Integrators function with a variety of steam sterilizers - gravity, pre-vacuum and flash sterilizers, no need to inventory different monitor products.
