Description

Advanced technology and innovative design have enabled Hu-Friedy to produce a superior composite instrument: Satin Steel™ XTS™. XTS composite instruments allow for exceptional non-stick placement of materials without discoloring the restoration. Studies indicate Aluminum Titanium Nitride (AlTiN) coatings are consistently harder, smoother and stick less as compared to Titanium coatings. Additionally, Hu-Friedy XTS instruments are made from Immunity Steel™ for longer life.

Additional Information

Composite instrument ends (XTS and standard Stainless Steel) should be gently wiped with an alcohol saturated swab/gauze immediately after use. This minimizes thin layers of composite from building up after use and extends the life of the instrument. Instrument should then be cleaned and sterilized as recommended in IFU.
