Marcelle graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2006. Since then she has built her profile within the industry having worked as an Oral Health therapist in both the private and public sector of Queensland, Australia. Marcelle commenced her career with the University of Queensland as a clinical supervisor of both oral health and dental students in 2008 and in 2012 was appointed an Associate Lecturer in the Bachelor of Oral Health program. In 2014 Marcelle was appointed Lecturer at the School of Dentistry. Having been heavily involved in curriculum design, implementation, assessments and content delivery, Marcelle's passion for clinical education is what drives her and is the reason she enjoys being a fundamental part of the Australian Hu Friedy Education team. Marcelle's clinical interests include geriatric and pediatric oral health, fortunately she is able to maintain her clinical skills and interest for oral health promotion at her private practice in Brisbane, Australia. Marcelle has worked in a variety of practices, gaining valuable experience both in small niche practices and more recently a corporation. Marcelle has been with Hu Friedy since 2014 providing professional development workshops to clinicians, practice staff and university students and staff.
